16 February - 2025

Among the litter that Lioba and Fred from Atelier Lifre in Heiloo clean up, there is also junk that they use to create artworks.

Host Ed Bausch is so enthusiastic about the works and the purpose of the sales proceeds, namely the Veldwerk Nepal Foundation, that he gives Lioba and Fred the opportunity to exhibit their work in the Witte Kerk.

The exhibition will be opened on February 19 at 12:00 PM and will last until March 18.

The works of 50 x 50 cm are for sale for € 50.00 (more is of course allowed).

The Veldwerk Nepal Foundation is committed to making a strong contribution through a scholarship program. Scholarships for children in Dhading and Kathmandu for attending

primary education, secondary or vocational education, and sometimes even higher education.

In selecting students who qualify for this, a close look is taken at the social and economic situation of the child and their family. The foundation gives extra

priority to orphans; children from low social classes; disabled individuals and girls.

Every child has a unique story. The support and costs therefore vary by situation. For a school year, this ranges from € 150 to € 800. This depends on the

financial situation of the parents, the location/travel distance, age, and situation of the child. They also support orphans and disabled children.

The Witte Kerk is located at Heerenweg 32 in Heiloo and is open every Wednesday between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
